This course provides an in-depth understanding of the biology of dairy cattle and the interrelationship between biological processes and management practices. Topics include: the dairy industry, nutrition, reproduction, genetics, environmental physiology, behavior and welfare, diseases, young stock management, facilities, lactation, milking procedures, milk quality, herd management, economics, and the environmental impact of dairy production.
